用料  

Small Yellow Onion 2
Cocktail Nuts 1/2 cup
Rice 1 cup
Milk 1/2 cup
Masala Powder 1 tsp
Butter (or Ghee) 1 tbsp
Raisin 1 box
Cinnamon Sugar 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Cheese, grated 1/3 cup

Kashmir Pulao的做法  

  1. Soak rice (use Basmatic rice if you like) in warm water for 30min.

  2. Fry nuts and raisin in butter until slightly colored. Drain with paper towel.

  3. Fry onions with cinnamon sugar. Again, drain with paper towel.

  4. Mix milk, masala powder, salt and 1 bowl of water in wok. Bring to boil then add well soaked rice. Continue to boil for about 3-4 mins.

  5. After that, turn down the heat to minimal. Cover and cook for another 10 mins.

  6. Blend in nuts, raisin and onions.

  7. Serve with cheese. Enjoy.
