5 cups rolled oats | |
2cup (200g) mixed dried fruit: roughly chop up | apricots, dates, cranberries, blueberries, raisins, prunes,coconut |
3/4cup(200g)mixed nuts:roughly bash up | almonds, cashews, walnuts, hazelnuts, brazil nuts, pecan nuts…… |
2/3cup(100g) mixed seeds: | chia, flax, hemp, pumpkin, sesame, sunflower, linseeds…… |
½ tsp cinnamon (& vanilla) | |
1/4cup honey or maple syrup | |
2 tablespoons olive oil | or vegetable oil or canola oil or butter |

Preheat the oven to 180ºC/350ºF/gas 4.
In a large bowl:mix
5cups oats
2/3 cup seeds & 3/4 cup nuts
1/2 tsp spice &1/4 cup honey
2 tbsp olive oil
spread out in 2 baking tray .
Bake:30-40minutes--golden
(stirring well every 10 minutes)
cool
Mix in 2 cups dried fruit
place in an airtight container
(for up to 4 weeks)
Serve each portion of granola
(50g per person)
with milk or yoghurt &
some fresh seasonal fruit.
