From western India, Poha, made from flattened rice, is an easy-to-cook, nutritious snack. It is often eaten for breakfast or brunch. Add extra zing to Poha by serving it with Mint-Coriander Chutney!
Poha来自印度西部,由碾碎的米饭制成,是一种易于烹饪、营养丰富的小吃。它经常作为早餐或早午餐吃。加入薄荷香菜酸辣酱来增加Poha的口感!

用料  

poha灯笼果 (flattened rice) 2 cups
菜油/菜籽油/葵花籽油 2 tbsp
芥菜籽 1 tsp
咖喱叶 5-6
green chilies绿辣椒(slit lengthwise) 2(可选)
medium onion (chopped fine) 1
large potato 1
去皮花生 1把
姜黄粉 少量
lime 青柠(juiced) 1/2
适量
香菜 装饰用

Poha or Powa - Indian Rice Dish的做法  

  1. 收集材料
    Gather the ingredients.

  2. Put the poha in a sieve and wash under running water for 2 minutes.将poha放入筛子中,在流水下冲洗2分钟。

  3. 放在一边沥干Keep aside to drain.

  4. 平底锅中用中火加热油,加入芥末籽、咖喱叶和青辣椒。
    Heat the oil in a pan on a medium flame and add the mustard seeds, curry leaves, and green chilies.

  5. 炸至溢出物停止,然后加入洋葱。煎至软透。
    Fry till the spluttering stops and then add the onion. Fry till soft and translucent.

  6. 加入花生和土豆,经常搅拌,煮2 - 3分钟。
    Add the peanuts and potatoes and frequently stir, cooking for 2 to 3 minutes.

  7. 将poha完全沥干,除去所有水分,加入上述混合物中。加入姜黄粉,搅拌均匀。
    Drain the poha completely to remove all water and add it to the above mix. Add the turmeric powder and stir well to blend all ingredients.

  8. 再煮一分钟。把火关掉。将酸橙汁倒在poha上拌匀。
    Cook for another minute. Turn off the fire. Pour lime juice over the poha and mix well.

  9. 用切碎的香菜装饰,趁热上桌。波哈和薄荷香菜酸辣酱一起吃味道很棒!
    Garnish with chopped coriander and serve while hot. Poha tastes great with mint-coriander chutney!
