a) Cook the rice (usually for 40-45 mins), add salt and bay leaves
b) Once the rice is cooked, add lemon juice, lime juice, mix well.
black beans:Combine all ingredients in a small pot and heat over medium heat for 5 minutes.
a) Cut peppers and onion into strings.
b) Add red onion to the skillet and sauté for 3 minutes over medium/high heat.
c) Add cut peppers and cook for 5 more minutes.
d) Add the seasoning( red pepper flakes, salt, pepper) and continue cooking until the vegetables are soft (about 2 minutes).
